Registering a domain in Brazil
Fapesp, the domain regulator in Brazil, is now accepting domain registration applications from companies that do not have an office in Brazil. Here are the rules.
1. The company must have a Brazilian company as representative (this can be our company), with powers to represent it before Fapesp
2. The company must have a record at the Registro.br service from Fapesp (we can provide the record).
3. One copy of the Power of Attorney document must be sent to Fapesp. See a
model here.
4. A copy of the representative companies' CNPJ must be sent to Fapesp, along with this information about the foreign company: legal name, full address and phone.
5. The payment must be made through the representative in Brazil.
Our services
Bank of Domains belongs to Itanet, a company that can be your representative in Brazil for the purpose of registering domains.
We do a search for the domain and, if it's free for registration, we configure our servers, register the domain, register your company at Fapesp, send the required documents, and park your domains at our ISP, Grapiuna.
The total cost for this service is R$250 (US$100) per domain, including all costs and Fapesp taxes.
If you want, your company can have a email like you@yourdomain.com.br, host the site with us or redirect the domain to another address. Our prices are quite competitive.
You can contact me, Marcel Leal, by phone (+55 73 9131-9320) or email to dom@bankofdomains.com in Portuguese or English.
